What is the Sublimation Printing Process?

Sublimation is a printing technique that allows for full-colour printing.
Heat converts the solid dye particles into a gas — known as sublimation — and bonds them to the polymer coatings.
The result is a durable print, which will not peel, crack or fade.
Even if the garment is bleached - the print will remain intact!

It is also referred to as ‘all over printing’, because it has the ability to print a design

that goes from seam to seam.

How does it work?

Choose your garment and your design

Your Design will be printed onto the sublimation transfer paper using sublimation ink.

After that the print out will be placed onto the fabric.

Next, the print out and the fabric are exposed to extreme temperatures,

usually between 350-400 degrees Fahrenheit in a heat press.

In a nutshell, the heat is used to bring the fabric and the ink together as one.

The main benefit is the quality of the image that can be achieved by this method.
